Our Mission
To try to
breed the perfect beagle....whether its a future
champion or your new family member, we strive for
healthy and well socialized puppies, who are the
sweetest , friendliest, and most adorable. Before buying
a Beagle puppy, we recommend that you read the books
about Beagles written by the following authors, Marcia
Foy, Andrew Brace, and Judith Musladin. Homework is a
must before owning a Beagle.
History
Highgate
Beagles was started by Richard F. Sedlack, a
professional dog handler, who decided when he retired to
become a judge, that he would breed Beagles as a hobby.
It all began when he started showing Beagles for several
clients and fell in love with the breed..... This year
he have decided to go back to
handling and save
judging for a later time.
Also, he is
still breeding Standard Poodles with his partner Holly
Schroth in Ohio, with 17 homebred champions, top
producers, group winners, BIS winners, and a couple
of C.D.s thrown in for good measure. You may see
one of our "Immortal" Standards at a show near you.

Beagles is currently located in wonderful Myakka City,
